Coaching

Coaching is one of the primary
endeavours of Stokes Sporthorses. Deon
has been coached by a wide range of
quality coaches at a national and
international level. There coaches
include; Glennis Barry, Wayne Roycroft,
Alison Rowlands, Harry Boldt, Uwe
Spenlen, Christoph Hess and George Sanna.
Deon has also been coaching extensively
himself for nearly 10 years. He is able
to use what he has learned from his own
lessons and competition experience and
relay that to his clients.

We are happy to teach a wide range of
riders from those starting out in
competition right up to riders of an
international level.

Both jumping and flatwork lessons are
available. The jumping lessons are
generally conducted in small groups and
the flatwork lessons are predominantly
private.

Please contact us to discuss times and
availability for lessons.

Horses taken for training and competition

Stokes Sporthorses will coordinate an individual program to suit specific clients’ needs. For example, we can take horses for all-inclusive training which consists of all schooling and competition right down to the clients who would like to have there horses schooled during the week compete themselves on the weekend. We have found that one of the most effective ways to improve is to combine in house training of your horse and combine this with lessons throughout the week.

Please contact us directly to discuss your individual requirements. The opportunities available are not limited to general training packages.

 Agistment

We offer limited positions for full
board agistment. Please contact us for
availability.
